Our Christian school student officers made a very special presentation to their principal on Christmas Eve.
The gift was a picture of the 101st Airborne "Band of Brothers." These men were part of the Easy Company, which was one of the toughest rifle companies in the Army during World War II. They were always being sent on the most important and dangerous assignments. The picture is signed by Cpl. Forrest Guth who was part of the Easy Company. He was one of the few members who would carry a camera into combat and snap pictures in the Normandy fields. Guth took some of the most outstanding photographs to be taken in the combat zone. Our principal loves History and our students wanted to add to his collection of History memorabilia.
We love you Bro. Poling!
